Hi, I'm Sharde'! I am passionate about Black maternal health and helping to create positive birth journeys. As a birth doula, I provide educational, emotional, and physical support to birthing persons during their prenatal period and continuous support during their birth. My goal is to provide evidence-based information to birthing persons so that they are aware of all of their options and can make informed decisions about their care. I've worked in public health for many years, promoting health equity and addressing health disparities among people of color. I took a leap into birthwork in 2020 and have supported several families in the Lansing area.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, playing tennis, and spending time outdoors in the sunshine.

Hey! I'm Domonique. I have walked this road before and it is much better when you are not alone. We want to be your #lansingdouladuo. I am passionate about birthwork. I believe maternal health & well being are undervalued and I look forward to helping families create bonds and routines that will instill confidence. As a postpartum doula I provide support to parents as they welcome a new family member. Planning ahead for a postpartum doula can help smooth the transitions as you adjust to your new family dynamics and get settled. I would love to make this a reality for more families in Michigan especially foster, adoption + single and teen parents.
Outside of birthwork, I enjoy being outdoors, traveling, planning events & spending time with my family.
